Koivu ja tähti -festival will be held in the summer idyll of Karjalohja for the tenth time in 2026. So there is reason to celebrate! As in previous years, the concert venues will be the magnificent stone church of Karjalohja and the idyllic Seurojentalo.
The opening concert of the anniversary year will be held in the Karjalohja church on Saturday 11th July at 6:00 p.m. The concert will feature pianist Laura Mikkola together with violinist Fredrika Mikkola and cellist Martti Rousi. During the anniversary year, part of the proceeds from the opening concert will be donated to the Puujärvi Water Conservation Association.
In 2026, Karjalohja will see familiar and new artist guests: e.g. actress Seela Sella and pianist Janne Mertanen, artist Maria Lund and Mikael Konttinen Quartet, jazz singer Anna Inginmaa, Trio Kaipuu cellist Marko Ylönen, fado singer Kirsi Poutanen and her band, soprano Mari Palo, singer Hannu Lehtonen and pianist Seppo Hovi, and artist Pepe Willberg and Trio Play, Girls.
