Martin Alvarado is one of the most important contemporary Argentine tango performers and has been described as “the best voice in Buenos Aires”. Matti Laukkanen has been instrumental in creating the “new Finnish tango nuevo” and is one of the world’s leading modern tango artists.

The duo’s new album Piazzolla Nuestro consists of songs composed by legendary Argentine bandoneon artist and composer Astor Piazzolla. Laukkanen has made groundbreaking arrangements and the songs are performed in Alvarado’s uniquely touching way.
