IL TRAMONTO

The italian composer Ottorino Respighi uses in his work Il Tramonto (the Sunset), for mezzo-soprano and string quartet written 1914, a poem by Shelley that reflects over lost love and the beauty of nature. The concert also presents beautiful, meditative music byArvo Pärt as well as some rarities by Finnish composers.
