Concert is cancedlled.

This concert is filled with innovative programming, selecting pieces from beyond the traditional repertoire not to forget the future classics. In the first part of the concert, Rebecca Clarks dramatic piano trio is paired with a work by one of our times most significant composers, the late Kaija Saariaho´s piece Light and Matter. In the latter part, we hear the remarkably mature and multi-layered piano trio by the young Erich Korngold, composed when he was just 12 years old as a tribute to his beloved father. The concert concludes with the musical realms that the promising composer led to during the golden age of Hollywood music in the 20th century. Rebecca Clarke (1886-1979), Piano Trio (25 min) I.
