French delicacies on cello and piano
This hosted concert will treat listeners to real French delicacies. It includes beloved piano pieces from Saint-Saëns’s Swan to Gabriel Fauré’s After a Dream. The concert will also feature cornerstones of chamber music from the works of César Franck and Claude Debussy. Francois Francoeur will serve up fresh and virtuoso tunes that are rarely heard in Finland.
The hosts are Yle’s beloved music journalist Risto Nordell. For decades, radio listeners have been able to enjoy his interesting commentary on music, literature and art in general. Now you can hear the legendary journalist’s narration live at Lyceumklubi.
