Fresh from his success at the Kuopio Violin Competition, Albert Sahlström joins pianist and conductor-in-the-making Mikael Loponen to present gems from the violin and piano chamber music repertoire. The duo, who made their debut at the Korsholm Music Festival in 2022, offers a richly varied concert journey — from Mozart’s most intimate colours to Stravinsky’s extroverted brilliance and the limits of virtuosity. Beethoven’s poetic final sonata for violin and piano crowns this exceptional concert experience.
