NIGHTS OF JEALOUSY

Jean Sibelius composed this work in 1893 for narrator, violin, cello and piano, and the text is based on Johan Ludvig Runeberg’s poem “The Nights of Jealousy”.The concert also includes lyrical violin pieces by Jean Sibelius, Franz Liszt’s profound “Vallée d’Obermann” and Fazıl Say’s “Four Cities” for cello and piano.
