Frozen Gainsbourg

Frozen Gainsbourg is a band born in Paris, France, on the initiative of Innanen and Rissanen, who perform Serge Gainsbourg’s music open-minded played by Nordic jazz musicians.

“Great Serge´s” repertoire is an endless source of inspiration for the trio and during the evening we’ll hear classics and perhaps not so well-known songs – such as Je t’aime moi non plus, La Javanaise, Aux Armes et caetera, Charlotte Forever and Poupée de cire, poupée de son (which is translated in Finnish as Vahanukke).

Trio’s ambition is to introduce the musical personality of Gainsbourg to the Finnish audience and to make a small exploration of the French music culture without losing their own expression! Challenging? Come and find yourself!
