AROSA ENSEMBLE

Arosa Ensemble plays beguiling music composed to the poems of 20th century modernist Edith Södergran. The songs are in Swedish, the original language of the poems, and are composed by the founder of the ensemble, Marja Ahlsved. On Finnish Swedish heritage day, Arosa Ensemble offers a soundscape inspired by Södergrans 100-year-old poems, travelling through themes of life, death and destiny.
