WORLDS IN THE WATERS OF SNOW

Wistful rainy October nights and bright mornings of early snow come together in the poetry of Mirkka Rekola (1931-2014) and music inspired by her words. Music by contemporary composers will be performed by Tuuli Lindeberg, Johanna Kärkkäinen, Anna-Leena Haikola, Janne Malinen and Minttu Siitonen, while Rekola’s timeless poetry will be recited by Suvi Olavinen. The concert also features the premiere performance of a work for soprano and piano by Sauli Zinovjev.

The concert is part of the Mirkka Rekola Festival in co-operation with the Mirkka Rekola Society
