CONCERTO BAROCCO

This concert Concerto Barcocco, presents musical pearls from the baroque era. We will hear a.o. perhaps for the lar geraudience a more unknown name, violinist Carlo Ambrogio Lonati´s music. Francesco Maria Veracini described him as the ”prince of violinists” and he also received the nickname ”the queen’s hunchback”, when he was in the service of queen Kristina in Rome. His collection of church sonatas (sonata da chiesa) is music that is gallant with melodic fluent lines.
